Shipping Policy – Parlekar Masalas

Thank you for shopping with Parlekar Masalas!

We take pride in carefully packing and shipping our authentic Indian spices so you receive them fresh and on time.


1. Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).

Orders placed after 3 p.m. EST will begin processing the next business day.

During high-volume periods (festivals, promotions, or holidays), processing may take an additional 1–2 days.

You’ll receive an email confirmation once your order is placed and another with tracking information once shipped.


2. Shipping Locations

We currently ship to:

All provinces and territories within Canada

Select international destinations (coming soon)


If your location is outside Canada, please contact us at parlekarcanada@gmail.com before placing your order to confirm delivery options and rates.


3. Shipping Methods & Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, order value, and delivery location.

We primarily ship via Canada Post, UPS, or Purolator, depending on service availability and delivery speed.

Free shipping may apply on qualifying orders - details are shown during checkout when available.


4. Delivery Estimates

Estimated delivery times (after dispatch):

Ontario & Québec: 2–5 business days

Western & Eastern Canada: 5–8 business days

Remote areas: up to 10 business days

Delivery times are estimates only. We are not responsible for carrier delays, weather interruptions, or customs processing times (for international orders).


5. Order Tracking

Once your parcel has shipped, you’ll receive a tracking link via email or SMS (if provided).

Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear in the carrier’s system after dispatch.


6. Address Accuracy & Delivery Issues

Please ensure your shipping address is entered correctly. We are not liable for delays or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses.

If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange re-shipping (additional postage may apply).

If your tracking shows “Delivered” but you haven’t received the package, please check with neighbours or your local post office before contacting us.


7. Damaged or Lost Packages

If your order arrives damaged or appears lost in transit:

1. Email us at parlekarcanada@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery).

2. Include your order number, photos of the outer packaging and damaged items (if applicable).

3. We will file a claim with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund once confirmed.

We cannot be held responsible for theft after confirmed delivery (e.g., package left at doorstep).


8. International Orders (if applicable)

All international orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees, which are the buyer’s responsibility.

Parlekar Masalas is not responsible for delays or additional charges caused by customs processing.


9. Changes & Cancellations

Orders cannot be changed or canceled once they have entered the processing or shipping stage.

If you need to modify your shipping address, please email us immediately after placing your order - we’ll try our best to accommodate before dispatch.
